PRISM Quartet in Concert with Branford Marsalis at World Saxophone Congress in Croatia
PRISM makes its first appearance at a World Saxophone Congress, an international gathering of saxophonists initiated in 1969 and held every three years. The 18th Congress features PRISM in a Selmer Showcase performing Matthew Levy’s Forbidden Drive with Branford Marsalis. PRISM will also give a recital featuring music by Elizabeth Hoffman, Roshanne Etezady, and Robert Schumann/Arr. by William Bolcom. PRISM’s Tim McAllister will appear as a soloist in John Adams’ Saxophone Concerto, and Taimur Sullivan and Zachary Shemon will perform a duo recital.
