Concert of One Belt One Road Concert

The PRISM Quartet returns to Beijing for a program celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the University of China Academy of Science. The program features Bright Sheng’s epic work, The Singing Gobi Desert (from PRISM’s 2014 innova recording of the same name). PRISM will perform Gobi with leading Chinese musicians under the baton of Bright Sheng. Also on the program: music by Michael Daugherty, Robert Schumann, and arrangements of traditional Chinese and Colombian folk music.
