The PRISM Quartet and the Curtis Institute of Music, in partnership with the American Composers Forum, Philadelphia Chapter present back-to-back professional development seminars.

11 am – noon: Record Production Techniques: From Concept to CD
This session will cover everything from developing thematic recording concepts to production and post-production techniques, distribution, and PR/marketing strategies.
12:15 – 1:15 pm: Establishing an Artistic Identity in a Cluttered Field
This session will focus on the development of a unique artistic identity as a means of distinguishing oneself in the music profession. It will include a discussion of performance practice and composition, programming and concert curation, branding through design and image, use of language, and more.
