I. Student Commission Awards

The PRISM Quartet sponsors three commissioning awards for students attending educational institutions in 1) Philadelphia 2) New York City, and 3) the state of Michigan. Winners receive a $500 commission to compose a saxophone quartet to be premiered by PRISM.

II. Commissions
PRISM commissions composers by invitation only. Composers should not use PRISM's name in conjunction with any fellowships, grant applications, or other funding proposals without express written permission from New Sounds Music, Inc., the nonprofit organization of the PRISM Quartet.

III. Unsolicited Works
PRISM considers unsolicited saxophone quartets from composers for programming. PRISM will attempt to read scores within 6 months of receipt. Please send scores, parts, and recordings (if available) to the address below. Materials submitted are added to PRISM's library, and are not returned.
